visionmaxx

Visionmax is a range of COTS-based scalable, multimedia and 3D graphics visualization systems that provide PC-cluster solutions for single or multiple Planar, Cylindrical or spherical displays for
up to 256 Channels.

With its integrated, multi-channel visualization software, Visionmax supports all general image media, including TV, Video, DVD and movies, in addition to real-time 3D graphics. Fully compatible with VRML97 on OpenGL, Visionmax supports direct import from compatibility with most popular 3D Modeling, CAD and animation software packages through VRML97 export. Beside, Visionmax provides plugin SDK for extending VRML97 nodes and customizing rendering, interaction and animation in clustered visualization.

Visionmax engineers test all new graphics cards as they become available to ensure that the product line stays at the forefront of technology improvements. Independence  from any one supplier means that Visionmax customers can be assured that only the best Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) components are used. What's more, Visionmax offers a range  of support packages that allow customers the option to have future hardware upgrades to protect their capital investment and minimize ongoing operational costs.

Visionmax offers Affordable Future-Proof Solutions for all display requirements.

Applications

Marketing & PR
Compared with  current marketing and public relations display systems, such as large screen plasma displays, Visionmax offers its customers the opportunity to create overwhelming visual impressions using multiple projector systems on curved, flat or dome shaped screens. High quality animation, real time 3D graphics and even video can be used to create extra-wide,  compelling images using Visionmax edge blending technologies.

Entertainment
Visionmax systems offer a truly affordable alternative to existing technologies for  creating and playing ride films and 3D movies. Real time graphics rendering, plug & play 3D stereo imaging, coupled with seamless edge blending offer customers the ability to  create innovative educational & entertainment experiences at a fraction of the cost normally associated with such installations.
With the newly developed video edge  blending technology and the ability to handle all types of external video sources, the system is also ideal for creating small cinemas and theatres.

CAVE
Fully  immersive systems, generically called CAVEs, create box-shaped images (shown below) that completely surround the User, creating the most realistic environments possible with current technology.
Historically, CAVE environments have suffered from problems such as the precise synchronization of the different image channels, distortion and image stereoscopy.
To resolve these problems, the installations required enormously expensive multi-pipe image generators that required a high initial capital outlay in addition to punitive on-going maintenance payments.
Now, however, Visionmax offers the perfect substitute for traditional workstations. Multiple PCs with the latest graphics cards, working together using the cluster technique, coupled with the NOVA Infinity visualization software create the same image effects at a fraction of the price.
Furthermore, Visionmax is hardware independent, tests all new graphics cards and offers optional hardware upgrade packages that allow the customer to protect their investment through the  replacement of graphics cards as the technology improves.

Broadcasting
Increasingly, information from a wide variety of sources - sports, racing, stock market  etc - is provided through wide display equipment. Despite the ever increasing range of display options such as electronic bulletin boards and multi-cubes, limitations on image  size and format still exist.
On the other hand, Visionmax systems offer a User-configurable interface that allows a huge choice of resolution, screen size and shape to allow customers to maximize the image that is displayed regardless of the size and shape of the viewing environment.
The GUI also allows users to set a varied Playlist that can  combine animations and graphics with TV broadcasts and movies from external sources such as DVDs and VCRs, to provide a varied and entertaining display sequence depending on the audience.
