The Hyundai 3D stereo monitor series W220S and W240S enable 2D and 3D viewing experience using circular polarization glasses. VRLOGIC recommends the Stereoscopic Player to view 3D videos.

The Hyundai monitors are available in 22” and 24” (55,88 cm and 60,96 cm) screen format and enable 3D stereo experience in a sensational way: due to the use of circular polarized filters in combination with polarization eye wear on the screen surface. Beside the operation in multimedia applications they are suitable for the use in professional environments as well. For example 3D models out of computer based engineering, molecular modelling, GIS can be displayed more plastically and thus allows a presentation close to reality. The only requirement for this is the support of a horizontal interlaced 3d stereo signal. Applications 3D Software Package The scope of delivery of the W220S contains the following software tools which allow the running of different 3D applications: Display Set-Up The Display Set-Up software ensures the correct configuration of your HYUNDAI 3D-monitor. 3D Media Player The 3D Media Player plays a wide range of 2D and 3D movies and photos, including open format files (.avi, .mpg, .jpg, etc) and DVDs.You can watch standard defintion 2D DVDs in high impact stereoscopic 3D at run time with 2D to 3D conversion technologies and play a variety of open format 3D media files (.avi, .mpg, .jpg, etc) named in adherence to the 3D file naming conventions. It also enables the play of 3Di DVDs on your stereoscopic 3D display. 3D Launchpad TriDef Launchpad enables you to play supported games in 3D. For each game it is necessary to have a 3D-game driver installed. Both monitors comes along including drivers for Quake III and Google Earth. If your software supports the horizontal interlaces 3D format, then it will work with the Hyundai monitor series. Professional software packages such as the amira® (molecular modelling) and many stereo video player software and 3d still images viewers are supporting this format. Please note that the monitor will only display 3D images when the software is written to create stereoscopic display output. The display will not automatically convert standard graphics output to stereoscopic output. Also stereoscopic viewing is only supported at a resolution of 1680x1050 or 1920x1200 (W240D). 3D visualization will not work correctly if the display resolution is set to any other value.   Please contact us for further assistance.
