EonX Plug-in
|
This is a link to the EonX Plug-in page. The EonX Plug-in is required for viewing an EON Application in a web page. If you try to view a 3D EON Application in a web page and you don’t have EON installed, then normally this plug-in page will appear in a new popup window. It installs the minimum files required to view a simple application. If a particular application depends on other components then these will be downloaded on demand.

A complete building or a single object can be quickly brought up inside ArchiCAD using the EON FastView Add-On real-time viewing environment. Camera views or walkthroughs can be saved for later sharing or modification in real-time.
Features include real-time rendering and walk-through capabilities for design reviews, fast web-distribution of highly compressed models with user selected html-templates, recording of real-time animations at a fraction of the size of an AVI, saving files to EON format for use in EON Studio, and full-screen support.

EonXtra is a plug-in for Macromedia Director that enables you to embed and run interactive EON Applications in a Director application.
EonXtra is a plug-in for Macromedia Director that enables you to embed and run interactive EON Applications in a Director application. Even though this can be done through the EonX, ActiveX control, this plug-in further enhances support for Director by offering the following features:
-> As an Xtra, the plug-in can be recognized and handled more easily by the user in the authoring environment.
-> New Lingo commands are added to let the user start and stop an EON Application, query various information on the plug-in and send events into the running simulation.
-> New Lingo data types are added to support EON-specific data types, such as SFBool, SFVec3F, etc. (automatic data conversation is provided).
-> Event handlers can be written to catch events coming from the running simulation (one handler for each event).
-> Dynamic adaptation of simulation loop time to better accommodate the run-time behavior of a Director application, which results in smoother user interaction and sprite movement.
